I offer a very personal design and made to measure service usually requiring 4-5 appointments.
Once the fabric and design of your dress has been finalised your pattern is cut and a calico toile (practise garment) is made. This checks style, fit and cut.
At your next visit, the dress will be in your chosen fabric, final adjustments made and the dress is completed.
A huge range of silks is available in all colours and textures e.g. satins, organzas, dupions, Thai silk, velvets, beaded and embroidered. Many of my clients choose their fabric first and the dress creates itself.
Embroidered corsets are a speciality, incorporating your wedding theme, favourite flower, cupids, insects etc...!
Beading, ribbon embroidery and appliqué with different colours and textures can all be used to embellish and transform.
